DMK leader M K Stalin has condemned the arrest of former school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi in connection with an alleged Rs 100-crore private school approvals scam. Stalin labelled the arrest as politically motivated, stating the government is attempting to divert public attention from administrative failures and a deteriorating law and order situation. He asserted that Poyyamozhi had been cooperating with the investigation and would face the charges legally. Stalin believes the ruling government's attempts to deflect public anger through such arrests will ultimately fail.

DMK नेता एम. के. स्टालिन ने कथित 100 करोड़ रुपये के निजी स्कूल अनुमोदन घोटाले के संबंध में पूर्व स्कूल शिक्षा मंत्री अनबिल महेश पोय्यमोझी की गिरफ्तारी की निंदा की है। स्टालिन ने गिरफ्तारी को राजनीतिक रूप से प्रेरित बताया, यह कहते हुए कि सरकार प्रशासनिक विफलताओं और बिगड़ती कानून व्यवस्था की स्थिति से जनता का ध्यान भटकाने की कोशिश कर रही है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि पोय्यमोझी जांच में सहयोग कर रहे थे और कानूनी रूप से आरोपों का सामना करेंगे। स्टालिन का मानना है कि ऐसी गिरफ्तारियों के माध्यम से जनता के गुस्से को भटकाने की सत्तारूढ़ सरकार की कोशिशें अंततः विफल होंगी।
