At least nine people were killed across three districts of Manipur within 24 hours as Naga-Kuki clashes flared up again, marking one of the deadliest days in the state. Six of the deceased were Nagas, two were Kukis, and one was of Nepalese origin. The violence occurred as the Manipur Chief Minister met the Prime Minister to discuss peace efforts.
