Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara indicated that Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar may have been consulted before the formation of a Political Affairs Committee (PAC). The PAC is intended to facilitate collective discussions and decision-making on important matters, rather than decisions being made by a single individual. While the PAC is likely to be announced soon, a demand for a coordination committee between the party and government was not approved by the central leadership.

कर्नाटक के उप मुख्यमंत्री जी. परमेश्वर ने संकेत दिया कि पॉलिटिकल अफेयर्स कमेटी (PAC) के गठन से पहले मुख्यमंत्री डी. के. शिवकुमार से सलाह ली गई होगी। PAC का मकसद किसी एक व्यक्ति द्वारा फैसले लेने के बजाय महत्वपूर्ण मामलों पर सामूहिक चर्चा और निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाना है। हालांकि PAC की घोषणा जल्द होने की संभावना है, लेकिन पार्टी और सरकार के बीच एक समन्वय समिति की मांग को केंद्रीय नेतृत्व ने मंजूरी नहीं दी है।
