A 62-year-old man who moved to Britain from Barbados at age 12 faces deportation despite living in the UK for 50 years. Tony Hall arrived in 1976 and has been on a deportation list for 14 years due to a past criminal conviction. He was previously deported to Barbados but refused entry, being sent back to London. His supporters argue that the prolonged threat of deportation constitutes a second punishment, preventing him from rebuilding his life. Hall has had to report to the Home Office bi-weekly since 2012.
