Hundreds of commuters face severe snarls, with near standstill traffic reported on the new flyway, spilling onto alternate routes like the Noida-Delhi Link Road. Commuters are complaining about multi-lane mergers into fewer lanes and the absence of traffic personnel. The Delhi Traffic Police acknowledge a structural bottleneck at the old Barapullah flyover as a primary cause for the gridlock, with Google Maps still not reflecting the congestion.
