NCR Property Prices Surge 12% Annually Despite Stable Sales, Becoming Costlier

Property prices in Delhi-NCR have seen a significant annual increase of 12%, making homeownership increasingly expensive in the region. This surge occurred despite residential sales remaining relatively stable. ANAROCK Research indicates this was the highest annual growth among India's seven major cities. While overall sales in NCR saw a marginal 3% rise quarter-on-quarter, they declined 1% year-on-year. The rise in property values is attributed to structural market changes, with buyers prioritizing areas with better infrastructure and connectivity, driving long-term value appreciation.
