Telangana Genco Focuses on Coal Handling Plant Issues at Yadadri Thermal Power Station

Telangana Genco is undertaking significant rectification works at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station's Coal Handling Plant to ensure maximum power generation, even with wet coal. These efforts aim to unlock the plant's full capacity of 2,500 tonnes per hour. Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) is supporting these upgrades, with completion expected by October 2026. The fifth unit of the station is set to achieve Commercial Operation Date in November 2026, bringing the total capacity to 4,000 MW.

तेलंगाना जेंको, गीले कोयले के साथ भी अधिकतम बिजली उत्पादन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए यादद्री थर्मल पावर स्टेशन के कोयला हैंडलिंग प्लांट में महत्वपूर्ण सुधार कार्य कर रहा है। इन प्रयासों का लक्ष्य 2,500 टन प्रति घंटे की प्लांट की पूरी क्षमता को अनलॉक करना है। भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल (BHEL) इन अपग्रेड में सहायता कर रहा है, जिसके अक्टूबर 2026 तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है। स्टेशन की पांचवीं यूनिट नवंबर 2026 में वाणिज्यिक संचालन तिथि (Commercial Operation Date) हासिल करने वाली है, जिससे कुल क्षमता 4,000 MW हो जाएगी।
