A tragic accident occurred in Mysuru's Periyapatna taluk early Friday morning when a private sleeper bus, en route from Bengaluru to Kozhikode, collided head-on with a lorry. The collision resulted in the deaths of four people, including the bus driver and conductor, and left 31 others injured. Two victims died at the scene, while two others were declared brought dead at the hospital. Three passengers sustained serious injuries and are receiving medical attention. The identity of one deceased victim is still unconfirmed.

शुक्रवार तड़के मैसूरु के पेरियापटना तालुका में एक निजी स्लीपर बस, जो बेंगलुरु से कोझिकोड जा रही थी, एक ट्रक से सीधी टकरा गई। इस टक्कर में बस चालक और कंडक्टर सहित चार लोगों की मौत हो गई और 31 अन्य घायल हो गए। दो पीड़ितों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि दो अन्य को अस्पताल में मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। तीन यात्रियों को गंभीर चोटें आई हैं और उनका इलाज चल रहा है। एक मृतक की पहचान अभी बाकी है।
