Woman Set Ablaze Outside Ponneri Govt Hospital

A 24-year-old data entry operator at Ponneri Govt Hospital was doused with petrol and set ablaze by an unidentified man outside the emergency ward on Monday evening. The contract worker suffered 48% burns and was initially treated at the hospital before being shifted to Kilpauk Medical College Hospital. Police are examining CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to identify the attacker and determine if the victim knew him.

चेन्नई के पोन्नेरी सरकारी अस्पताल में सोमवार शाम एक 24 साल की डेटा एंट्री ऑपरेटर पर इमरजेंसी वार्ड के बाहर एक अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने पेट्रोल छिड़ककर आग लगा दी। इस कॉन्ट्रैक्ट वर्कर को 48% जलने की चोटें आई हैं। पहले उसे उसी अस्पताल में इलाज मिला, फिर किल्पाउक मेडिकल कॉलेज हॉस्पिटल शिफ्ट किया गया। पुलिस CCTV फुटेज खंगाल रही है और गवाहों से पूछताछ कर रही है ताकि हमलावर की पहचान हो सके।
