Kotak MF Suspends Subscriptions In Two Debt Funds Holding Yes Bank AT1 Bonds

Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company has temporarily suspended subscriptions in two debt mutual fund schemes, Kotak Medium Term Fund and Kotak Credit Risk Fund. This precautionary measure was taken to safeguard investor interests after the Yes Bank AT1 bonds held by these funds were valued at zero. The fund house stated it is reviewing the Supreme Court's judgment, which later restored the bonds. Kotak Mahindra AMC reiterated its commitment to acting in the best interests of its unitholders, having taken similar proactive steps previously.

कोटक महिंद्रा एसेट मैनेजमेंट कंपनी ने दो डेट म्यूचुअल फंड स्कीमों, कोटक मीडियम टर्म फंड और कोटक क्रेडिट रिस्क फंड में अस्थायी रूप से सब्सक्रिप्शन निलंबित कर दिया है। इन फंडों द्वारा रखे गए यस बैंक एटी1 बॉन्ड का मूल्य शून्य कर दिए जाने के बाद निवेशकों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए यह एहतियाती कदम उठाया गया था। फंड हाउस ने कहा कि वह सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले की समीक्षा कर रहा है, जिसने बाद में बॉन्ड बहाल कर दिए। कोटक महिंद्रा एएमसी ने पहले भी इसी तरह के सक्रिय कदम उठाते हुए अपने यूनिटधारकों के सर्वोत्तम हितों में काम करने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई है।
