Thane Bakery Sealed Over Wood-Fired Furnace Use

A popular bakery in Thane has been sealed by the food regulator for using a wood-fired furnace. This action was taken following a directive from the Bombay High Court. The court had previously ordered all bakeries across Maharashtra to cease using coal or wood-fired ovens. They must transition to cleaner alternatives like LPG, piped gas, or electric ovens to comply with environmental regulations.

ठाणे की एक मशहूर बेकरी को फूड रेगुलेटर ने लकड़ी के चूल्हे का इस्तेमाल करने पर सील कर दिया है। यह कार्रवाई बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद हुई है। कोर्ट ने पहले ही महाराष्ट्र की सभी बेकरियों को कोयले या लकड़ी के चूल्हे बंद करने का हुक्म दिया था। अब उन्हें पर्यावरण नियमों के तहत एलपीजी, पाइप वाली गैस या इलेक्ट्रिक ओवन जैसे साफ विकल्प अपनाने होंगे।
