The authority issued an advisory highlighting non-compliance with labelling requirements and warning statements for plant and botanical ingredients. Several Food Business Operators are reportedly not following these regulations, which govern health supplements, nutraceuticals, and foods for special dietary needs. FSSAI warned that action will be taken against non-compliant firms, emphasizing the need for clear and legible warning statements to prevent misuse.
