Ex-CJI Chandrachud Refutes Justice Kaul's Claims On Collegium

भारत के पूर्व मुख्य न्यायाधीश डी.वाई. चंद्रचूड़ ने कॉलेजियम के कामकाज को लेकर पूर्व न्यायाधीश एस.के. कौल द्वारा लगाए गए आरोपों पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है। न्यायमूर्ति कौल ने अपनी किताब में दावा किया था कि चंद्रचूड़ ने कॉलेजियम चर्चाओं से पहले सरकार की सहमति मांगी थी और वे सरकार के प्रति बहुत नरम थे। चंद्रचूड़ ने कहा कि उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान कॉलेजियम के सभी निर्णय सर्वसम्मति से लिए गए थे और न्यायमूर्ति कौल ने किसी भी सिफारिश पर कभी औपचारिक रूप से असहमति दर्ज नहीं कराई थी। इस विवाद ने न्यायिक नियुक्तियों और न्यायपालिका-सरकार के संबंधों पर बहस को फिर से तेज कर दिया है।
