India Car Exports Rise 1.25% in H1 FY2027; Maruti Suzuki Dominates

India's car exports saw a modest 1.25% increase in the first half of FY2027, reaching 4.51 lakh units. Maruti Suzuki significantly strengthened its position, accounting for over 51% of total shipments with 2.30 lakh units exported. This growth from Maruti Suzuki alone surpassed the overall industry's net gain, keeping total exports positive. The Maruti Fronx was the top exported model, followed closely by the Jimny, with both models contributing over one-fifth of India's total car exports.

FY2027 की पहली छमाही में भारत के कार निर्यात में मामूली 1.25% की वृद्धि देखी गई, जो 4.51 लाख यूनिट तक पहुँच गया। मारुति सुजुकी ने अपनी स्थिति को काफी मजबूत किया, कुल शिपमेंट का 51% से अधिक हिस्सा 2.30 लाख यूनिट निर्यात के साथ अपने नाम किया। अकेले मारुति सुजुकी की यह वृद्धि समग्र उद्योग के शुद्ध लाभ से अधिक थी, जिसने कुल निर्यात को सकारात्मक बनाए रखा। मारुति Fronx सबसे ज्यादा निर्यात किया जाने वाला मॉडल रहा, जिसके बाद Jimny का स्थान रहा, दोनों मॉडलों ने भारत के कुल कार निर्यात का पांचवें हिस्से से अधिक का योगदान दिया।
