Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Y.S. Sharmila Reddy has accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of acting in favour of the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She demanded his resignation, alleging that nearly 13 crore votes were removed across the country, which she described as a serious attack on the constitutional right to vote. Sharmila alleged the Election Commission has been compromised and is functioning under BJP influence, with votes being added or deleted selectively.
