WHO identifies 6 dengue drug candidates

The World Health Organization has identified six potential candidates for a dengue drug. Out of 182 dengue clinical trial records reviewed, 74 were updated recently. Researchers narrowed this down to 21 records, investigating 15 medicinal products. Only one drug is currently in the late-stage trial phase, indicating a significant step forward in the global effort to combat the mosquito-borne viral infection.
