This occurred as persistent concerns about the sustainability of the AI-driven market rally continued to boost demand for government bonds. The previous day saw the steepest one-day fall in the 10-year yield in nearly four years, driven by investor flight to safety amid renewed worries about AI stocks. Despite Friday's rise, the 10-year yield remained lower for the week, on track for a third consecutive weekly decline.
