Madras HC Dismisses MGR Heirs' Property Claim

The Madras High Court has dismissed a plea by legal heirs of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran seeking a share in a property. The court stated that the property is part of the MGR School and Home for the Speech and Hearing Impaired Trust, as per MGR's will. The court noted that MGR's will was probated in 1992, making the claim based on intestate succession untenable. The petitioners were advised to pursue their claims before the appropriate legal forum.

मद्रास हाईकोर्ट ने एम.जी.आर. के वारिसों का संपत्ति का दावा खारिज किया

मद्रास हाईकोर्ट ने पूर्व तमिलनाडु मुख्यमंत्री एम.जी. रामचन्द्रन के कानूनी वारिसों की एक संपत्ति में हिस्सा मांगने वाली याचिका खारिज कर दी है। अदालत ने कहा कि एम.जी.आर. की वसीयत के अनुसार, यह संपत्ति एम.जी.आर. स्कूल एंड होम फॉर द स्पीच एंड हियरिंग इम्पेयर्ड ट्रस्ट का हिस्सा है। अदालत ने यह भी बताया कि एम.जी.आर. की वसीयत को 1992 में प्रोबेट मिल गया था, जिससे बिना वसीयत के उत्तराधिकार के आधार पर किया गया दावा अमान्य हो जाता है। याचिकाकर्ताओं को सलाह दी गई कि वे अपने दावों को उचित कानूनी मंच पर आगे बढ़ाएं।
