Om Prakash Karhana Appointed Chef-de-Mission For India's Youth Olympics Contingent

Former shot-putter Om Prakash Karhana has been appointed the chef-de-mission for India's 35-member contingent at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal. The contingent includes 17 athletes, supported by 12 coaches, four physios, and one doctor. Karhana, a former Asian Championships gold medalist, previously served as Safeguarding Officer for the Indian contingent at the Asian Youth Games. This marks India's smallest athlete contingent for the Games, which feature participants aged 15 to 18 from 207 countries.
