Coimbatore MSMEs Demand Power Infrastructure Upgrades

The Tamil Nadu Association of Cottage and Tiny Enterprises has urged the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation to improve electricity infrastructure in Coimbatore district. They are requesting dedicated 11 kV/22 kV power lines to substations, new high-capacity transformers, and inter-connected power lines to prevent summer outages. The association also highlighted issues with existing equipment maintenance and the need for a 'Fault Off-Call' service for night outages. Additionally, they seek a reduction in fixed charges for LT CT industries, which were recently increased significantly.

तमिलनाडु एसोसिएशन ऑफ कॉटेज एंड टाइनी एंटरप्राइजेज ने तमिलनाडु पावर डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कॉर्पोरेशन से कोयंबटूर जिले में बिजली के ढांचे को बेहतर बनाने का आग्रह किया है। वे सबस्टेशनों तक 11 kV/22 kV की समर्पित बिजली लाइनें, नए उच्च क्षमता वाले ट्रांसफार्मर और गर्मियों में बिजली कटौती को रोकने के लिए आपस में जुड़ी बिजली लाइनें चाहते हैं। एसोसिएशन ने मौजूदा उपकरणों के रखरखाव के मुद्दों और रात में बिजली कटौती के लिए 'फॉल्ट ऑफ-कॉल' सेवा की आवश्यकता पर भी प्रकाश डाला। इसके अतिरिक्त, वे एलटी सीटी उद्योगों के लिए निश्चित शुल्क में कमी चाहते हैं, जिसे हाल ही में काफी बढ़ाया गया था।
