Maharashtra Govt Approves ₹230 Crore Plan To Develop Mahatma Phule's Pune Residence

The Maharashtra government has approved a ₹230 crore plan for the comprehensive development of Phulewada, the Pune residence of social reformer Jyotiba Phule. The project includes beautification and land acquisition ahead of his 200th birth anniversary. Additionally, the government will establish OBC hostels in all 36 districts and separate the budget for Vimukta Jatis and Nomadic Tribes from the OBC budget. Plans are also underway to fill backlog OBC posts and expand the scope of Mahajyoti.

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने समाज सुधारक ज्योतिबा फुले के पुणे स्थित निवास फुलेवाडा के व्यापक विकास के लिए ₹230 करोड़ की योजना को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस परियोजना में उनकी 200वीं जयंती से पहले सुंदरीकरण और भूमि अधिग्रहण शामिल है। इसके अतिरिक्त, सरकार सभी 36 जिलों में ओबीसी छात्रावास स्थापित करेगी और विमुक्त जातियों और घुमंतू जनजातियों के बजट को ओबीसी बजट से अलग करेगी। महाज्योति के दायरे का विस्तार करने और बैकलॉग ओबीसी पदों को भरने की भी योजनाएं हैं।
