Young adults in Israel are showing a strong inclination towards right-wing politics, a trend contrary to global youth movements. Recent polls indicate that approximately 80 percent of first-time voters, aged 18-22, plan to participate in the upcoming October 27 legislative election. A survey by the Israel Democracy Institute found that a majority of young Jewish Israelis believe their vote can shape the country's future. Around three-quarters of Jewish first-time voters identified as right or centre-right, a sentiment significantly higher than the general Israeli population.
