The actress stated she prioritizes roles that drive the narrative forward, even in smaller films, over insignificant parts in larger productions. Kher also shared experiences with insecure co-stars in the industry, noting that genuine talent like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar are exceptions. She expressed a strong desire to collaborate with director Priyadarshan on a comedy film.

सैयामी खेर ने बॉलीवुड में अपने एक दशक के सफर पर बात करते हुए बताया कि उन्होंने अपनी डेब्यू फिल्म 'मिर्जिया' के बाद दो बड़ी फिल्मों के ऑफर ठुकरा दिए थे क्योंकि उनमें उन्हें बहुत कम स्क्रीन टाइम मिलने वाला था। एक्ट्रेस ने कहा कि वह बड़ी फिल्मों में छोटे-मोटे रोल करने से बेहतर है कि छोटी फिल्मों में भी ऐसी भूमिकाएं करें जो कहानी को आगे बढ़ाएं। खेर ने इंडस्ट्री में असुरक्षित सह-कलाकारों के साथ अपने अनुभव भी साझा किए और कहा कि अमिताभ बच्चन और अक्षय कुमार जैसे लोग असली टैलेंटेड हैं और वे इसके अपवाद हैं। उन्होंने प्रियदर्शन के साथ एक कॉमेडी फिल्म में काम करने की गहरी इच्छा जताई।
