The Saudi-led coalition announced on Friday that it intercepted and destroyed a drone launched by Yemen's Houthis over the Medina region of Saudi Arabia. However, the Iran-aligned Houthi group has denied carrying out any attack towards the kingdom. Medina is a significant holy city in Islam, attracting millions of pilgrims annually. Cross-border attacks between the coalition and Houthis have intensified amid broader regional conflicts, creating a new front in the ongoing war. The Houthis have previously denied targeting Islam's two holiest cities.
