Former Karnataka CM Jagadish Shettar has accused Congress leaders of making baseless allegations of vote theft and criticising the special intensive revision (SIR) process to tarnish Prime Minister Narendra Modi's image. He stated that such claims are made after electoral defeats and questioned why Congress only raises these issues when the BJP wins. Shettar challenged them to file a court complaint if they have evidence of vote theft. He also criticised Chief Minister DK Shivakumar for alleged arrogance and insulting a seer, demanding an apology.
