Delhi's drug control department has warned pharmacies against advertising 'up to 80% off' discounts on medicines. The department clarified that selling medicines below the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) is allowed. However, it objects to vague or exaggerated advertisements that may mislead customers about the actual discounts available. This action aims to ensure transparency and prevent deceptive practices in the pharmaceutical retail sector.
