Russia Fires Flares At Danish Helicopter

A Russian warship fired two signal flares at a Danish Air Force helicopter on September 14 to prevent an incident. The helicopter approached the Russian corvette Soobrazitelny in neutral Baltic Sea waters and did not respond to communication attempts. Following the flares, the helicopter departed the area.
