The Democratic Republic of the Congo has recorded over 3,500 laboratory-confirmed deaths from Ebola, according to the Ministry of Communications and Media Affairs. In the last 24 hours, 35 lives were lost, bringing the total to 3,510. Confirmed cases have reached 7,258, with a case fatality rate of 48.4%. The outbreak has impacted seven provinces, with Ituri Province accounting for 78% of cases. This marks the second-deadliest Ebola outbreak on record in Africa.
