Cristiano Ronaldo has announced his retirement from international football, concluding a remarkable 23-year career with Portugal. The decision follows weeks of speculation and a public disagreement with Portugal's head coach, Jorge Jesus. He cited a broken agreement regarding his omission from matches as a reason for his departure, though the coach indicated he could return if he wished.
