Seven Arrested For Illegal Wildlife Poaching In Yadgir

Forest Department officials in Yadgir arrested seven individuals on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for illegally poaching wild animals within a reserved forest area. The accused were found with burnt remains of two peacocks, two live turtles, and 12 live crabs, along with six country-made guns and ammunition. A case has been registered under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, and the seven accused have been remanded in judicial custody.

यादगीर में वन विभाग के अफसरों ने शनिवार, 12 सितंबर 2026 को सात लोगों को पकड़ा। ये लोग रिज़र्व फ़ॉरेस्ट एरिया में गैरकानूनी तरीके से जंगली जानवरों का शिकार कर रहे थे। पकड़े गए लोगों के पास से दो मोर, दो कछुए और 12 केकड़े मिले। साथ ही, छह देसी कट्टे और कारतूस भी बरामद हुए। वाइल्डलाइफ प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट, 1972 के तहत केस दर्ज कर लिया गया है और सभी सात आरोपियों को जेल भेज दिया गया है।
