Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre has been granted bail by a Thane court. He was arrested for allegedly assaulting doctors and medical staff at a civic hospital, an incident that sparked widespread outrage after a video went viral. Mhatre and three associates were initially sent to judicial custody. The two doctors allegedly assaulted by Mhatre have since resigned from their positions.

शिवसेना के कॉर्पोरेटर रमेश म्हात्रे को ठाणे कोर्ट से जमानत मिल गई है। उन पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने एक सरकारी अस्पताल में डॉक्टरों और मेडिकल स्टाफ के साथ मारपीट की थी। इस घटना का वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद काफी हंगामा मचा था। म्हात्रे और उनके तीन साथियों को पहले न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजा गया था। जिन दो डॉक्टरों से मारपीट का आरोप है, उन्होंने बाद में इस्तीफा दे दिया था।
