Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed outrage after visiting Kosmi village in Madhya Pradesh, where homes of poor families were demolished. He witnessed the destruction of houses, crops, and wells, calling the administrative action shameful and inhumane. Chouhan promised new permanent homes for the affected families and immediate temporary arrangements for their stay and food. He stated that officials responsible for rendering families homeless and destroying their livelihoods would not be spared.

केंद्रीय मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने मध्य प्रदेश के कोस्मी गांव का दौरा करने के बाद गुस्सा जताया, जहाँ गरीब परिवारों के घर गिरा दिए गए थे। उन्होंने घरों, फसलों और कुओं के विनाश को देखा, और प्रशासनिक कार्रवाई को शर्मनाक और अमानवीय बताया। चौहान ने प्रभावित परिवारों के लिए नए स्थायी घर बनाने और उनके रहने व खाने के लिए तत्काल अस्थायी व्यवस्था करने का वादा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि परिवारों को बेघर करने और उनकी आजीविका नष्ट करने के लिए जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
