Sebi Prepares IPO Reforms, Short-Selling Rules To Boost Market

Market regulator Sebi is planning a new set of reforms for the IPO market, SME listings, and corporate bond trading. Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey announced these measures aim to simplify compliance and enhance investor protection. The Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) framework is undergoing a comprehensive review to modernize regulations. Sebi is also examining the SME IPO framework to facilitate capital raising for genuine enterprises while safeguarding investors.
