KEC International Profit Plummets 82% in Q2; Shares Fall 8%

KEC International's consolidated net profit for the September quarter (Q2FY27) saw a significant year-on-year decline of 82%, falling to ₹30 crore from ₹161 crore in the previous year. Revenue also dropped by 10.5% to ₹5,468 crore, with PAT margins contracting sharply to 0.5%. The company cited challenging operating conditions, including geopolitical disruptions and land acquisition issues, as reasons for the weaker performance. Consequently, KEC International shares experienced selling pressure, falling nearly 8% in early trade.

KEC International का सितंबर तिमाही (Q2FY27) का कंसोलिडेटेड नेट प्रॉफिट पिछले साल के ₹161 करोड़ से 82% घटकर ₹30 करोड़ रह गया। रेवेन्यू भी 10.5% गिरकर ₹5,468 करोड़ हो गया, और PAT मार्जिन घटकर 0.5% रह गया। कंपनी ने खराब प्रदर्शन के लिए मुश्किल ऑपरेटिंग कंडीशंस, भू-राजनीतिक बाधाओं और जमीन अधिग्रहण की समस्याओं को जिम्मेदार ठहराया। नतीजतन, KEC International के शेयरों में शुरुआती कारोबार में लगभग 8% की गिरावट आई।
