Fitter and Accomplice Arrested for Plotting Contractor Abduction and Rs 2 Lakh Ransom

Police in Hazaribag have arrested a transmission line fitter, Ramlal Hansda (28), and his accomplice, Chhotu Kisku (30), for allegedly conspiring to abduct a contractor and extort Rs 2 lakh. Hansda had reportedly feigned victimhood during the incident in Panimako forest. Contractor Pancham Mahto reported being intercepted by armed men who demanded ransom before releasing him and Hansda. Technical investigation indicated Hansda's involvement, leading to their arrest and judicial custody. Police recovered a T-shirt allegedly used during the crime and some cash.

हजारीबाग पुलिस ने एक ट्रांसमिशन लाइन फिटर, रामलाल हांसदा (28) और उसके साथी छोटू किस्कू (30) को एक ठेकेदार के अपहरण और 2 लाख रुपये की फिरौती मांगने की कथित साजिश रचने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। हांसदा ने कथित तौर पर पनीमाको जंगल में हुई घटना के दौरान खुद को पीड़ित के रूप में पेश किया था। ठेकेदार पंचम महतो ने बताया कि हथियारबंद लोगों ने उसे रोका और फिरौती की मांग की, जिसके बाद उसे और हांसदा को छोड़ दिया गया। तकनीकी जांच में हांसदा की संलिप्तता का पता चला, जिसके बाद उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया।
