भारत सरकार खनन क्षेत्र की बदलती ज़रूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय खनिज नीति, 2019 की व्यापक समीक्षा कर रही है। खान मंत्रालय के अतिरिक्त सचिव की अध्यक्षता में नौ सदस्यीय समिति मौजूदा नीति की जांच करेगी और संशोधनों की सिफारिश करेगी। यह समीक्षा महत्वपूर्ण खनिजों, रीसाइक्लिंग और गहरे समुद्र के संसाधनों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगी, जो हाल के घटनाक्रमों और क्षेत्र की बदलती आवश्यकताओं को दर्शाती है। समिति को इसके गठन के दो महीने के भीतर अपनी सिफारिशें सौंपने का काम सौंपा गया है।
