Kenya has confirmed its first Ebola case following the death of a Kenyan national in Nairobi who had recently traveled from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The patient, who had lived in the DRC for seven years, fell ill before traveling by road to Uganda and then flying to Nairobi. Health officials have identified 28 contacts, including family and healthcare workers, and are tracing 23 passengers from the same flight.
