Devdutt Padikkal Denied Double Century By Controversial LBW Call

TV9 Hindi · sports

Devdutt Padikkal narrowly missed a double century in the India A vs New Zealand A match, falling just one run short. He was given out caught behind off the bowling of Jack Gibson, a decision he strongly contested. The appeal from the New Zealand A players was reportedly weak, suggesting the ball might have hit his pad rather than the bat before reaching the wicketkeeper. Padikkal appeared surprised by the umpire's decision, which went against his perception of the incident.
