Meena pleaded with the party to reconsider its decision, alleging his mother was denied the ticket due to his activism for public issues. He stated he would rather give up the ticket than stop raising concerns for the people. He vowed to continue fighting for them, even if it meant expulsion from the party.

जयपुर के पूर्व जिला प्रमुख विजय मीणा का एक वीडियो वायरल हो रहा है जिसमें वह रोते हुए दिख रहे हैं। ऐसा इसलिए हुआ क्योंकि उनकी मां, मंजू मीणा को वार्ड 47 से BJP का टिकट नहीं मिला। मीणा ने पार्टी से अपने फैसले पर फिर से विचार करने की अपील की। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि जनता के मुद्दों पर सक्रिय रहने की वजह से उनकी मां को टिकट से वंचित किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों के लिए आवाज़ उठाना बंद करने से अच्छा है कि वह टिकट छोड़ दें। उन्होंने कसम खाई कि पार्टी से निकाले जाने पर भी वह लोगों के लिए लड़ते रहेंगे।
