Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated 551 model schools on Sunday. Officials have reportedly been directed to paint these Saraswati Vidya Niketan schools saffron. This decision replaces conventional colours like pink, sky blue, or yellow. The move has sparked a political row in the state, with opposition parties raising concerns about the colour choice for educational institutions.

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने रविवार को 551 मॉडल स्कूलों का उद्घाटन किया। खबर है कि इन सरस्वती विद्या निकेतन स्कूलों को भगवा रंग से रंगने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। इस फैसले से गुलाबी, आसमानी या पीले जैसे पारंपरिक रंगों को बदला जाएगा। इस कदम से राज्य में राजनीतिक विवाद खड़ा हो गया है, विपक्षी दलों ने शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के लिए रंग की पसंद पर चिंता जताई है।
