MPSC Member Satish Waghole Gets Additional Charge As Chairperson

Maharashtra Public Service Commission member Satish Baban Waghole has been given additional charge as the panel's chairperson. This comes during the leave of incumbent Vivek Bhimanwar, who is facing criticism from MPSC aspirants over alleged exam paper leaks and irregularities. Aspirants had previously staged a 10-day protest in Pune demanding Bhimanwar's removal. The Maharashtra government has formed a committee to probe alleged irregularities, including paper leaks, and Bhimanwar announced he would proceed on leave until the inquiry is completed.

महाराष्ट्र लोक सेवा आयोग (MPSC) के सदस्य सतीश बाबन वाघोले को आयोग के अध्यक्ष के रूप में अतिरिक्त प्रभार सौंपा गया है। यह कार्यभार ऐसे समय में आया है जब मौजूदा अध्यक्ष विवेक भीमावर छुट्टी पर हैं, जो कथित परीक्षा प्रश्नपत्र लीक और अनियमितताओं को लेकर एमपीएससी उम्मीदवारों के गुस्से का सामना कर रहे हैं। उम्मीदवारों ने पहले भी भीमावर को हटाने की मांग को लेकर पुणे में 10 दिनों तक विरोध प्रदर्शन किया था। महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने प्रश्नपत्र लीक सहित कथित अनियमितताओं की जांच के लिए एक समिति का गठन किया है, और भीमावर ने घोषणा की है कि वह जांच पूरी होने तक छुट्टी पर रहेंगे।
