Actor Dino Morea Questioned in ₹65 Crore BMC Mithi River Desilting Scam

Bollywood actor Dino Morea was questioned by the Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for six hours in connection with an alleged ₹65 crore scam involving the desilting of the Mithi River. The investigation concerns financial irregularities in a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) sanitation contract. Morea's name surfaced after his communications with a key accused were revealed in call records. Police are examining his potential links and financial transactions related to the alleged scam. The case is also being probed by the Enforcement Directorate for money-laundering allegations.

बॉलीवुड एक्टर डीनो मोरिया से मुंबई पुलिस की आर्थिक अपराध शाखा (EOW) ने मीठी नदी की डीसिल्टिंग में कथित ₹65 करोड़ के घोटाले के संबंध में छह घंटे तक पूछताछ की। यह जांच बृहन्मुंबई नगर निगम (बीएमसी) के एक स्वच्छता अनुबंध में वित्तीय अनियमितताओं से संबंधित है। कॉल रिकॉर्ड में एक मुख्य आरोपी के साथ उनकी बातचीत सामने आने के बाद मोरिया का नाम सामने आया। पुलिस कथित घोटाले से जुड़े उनके संभावित संबंधों और वित्तीय लेनदेन की जांच कर रही है। प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) भी मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के आरोपों की जांच कर रहा है।
