Hindustan Times · india
Around 1,812 families in two Greater Noida housing societies have received a one-month extension to fix fire-safety issues, avoiding a proposed electricity disconnection. Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) had planned to cut power to Plumeria Garden Estate and Migsun Ultima on October 13, following GNIDA's directives due to alleged fire-safety violations. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has now asked NPCL to allow the societies additional time to complete the necessary compliance processes. Residents cited delays in obtaining fire department clearances as a reason for the pending work.
