SUVs in the 4.5m to 5m segment in India recorded combined domestic sales of 45,420 units in September 2026, an increase of 8.77% year-on-year. For the third quarter of 2026, sales reached 1,29,248 units, up 29.14% from the previous year. The Mahindra Scorpio range led September sales with 17,313 units, followed by the XUV7XO with 9,097 units. Together, Mahindra models accounted for approximately 72.70% of the segment's sales in September, demonstrating significant market dominance.
