Bank of India Declares Kishore Biyani's Future Enterprises Account Fraud

Bank of India has classified Kishore Biyani's Future Enterprises Ltd account as fraud, citing outstanding dues of Rs 575.4 crore. The bank reported this to the Reserve Bank of India on Monday and has made provisions for the entire outstanding amount. Future Enterprises was admitted to the corporate insolvency resolution process by the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal in February 2023. This action by the bank signifies a significant development in the ongoing financial proceedings against the company.

बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने 575.4 करोड़ रुपये की बकाया राशि के कारण किशोर बियानी की फ्यूचर एंटरप्राइजेज लिमिटेड के खाते को फ्रॉड घोषित कर दिया है। बैंक ने सोमवार को भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक को इसकी सूचना दी और पूरी बकाया राशि के लिए प्रोविजन कर लिया है। फ्यूचर एंटरप्राइजेज को फरवरी 2023 में नेशनल कंपनी लॉ ट्रिब्यूनल की मुंबई बेंच द्वारा कॉर्पोरेट इंसॉल्वेंसी रेजोल्यूशन प्रोसेस में स्वीकार किया गया था। बैंक की यह कार्रवाई कंपनी के खिलाफ चल रही वित्तीय कार्यवाही में एक महत्वपूर्ण विकास का संकेत देती है।
