The Himachal Pradesh postal circle is set to significantly expand its drone-based mail and parcel delivery services, increasing the operational routes from 36 to 110. Chief Postmaster General Sanjay Singh announced the expansion, highlighting that drone delivery is already proving effective in reducing delivery times and enhancing reliability in remote areas. This initiative, launched in August, aims to leverage technology for improved postal services across the state. The postal circle also reported substantial growth in savings bank accounts and life insurance policies during the April-September period.

हिमाचल प्रदेश पोस्टल सर्कल अपनी ड्रोन-आधारित डाक और पार्सल डिलीवरी सेवाओं का विस्तार करने के लिए तैयार है, जिससे परिचालन रूट 36 से बढ़कर 110 हो जाएंगे। चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल संजय सिंह ने इस विस्तार की घोषणा की, और इस बात पर जोर दिया कि ड्रोन डिलीवरी पहले से ही दूरदराज के इलाकों में डिलीवरी के समय को कम करने और विश्वसनीयता बढ़ाने में प्रभावी साबित हो रही है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य, जो अगस्त में शुरू हुई थी, राज्य भर में डाक सेवाओं को बेहतर बनाने के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी का लाभ उठाना है। पोस्टल सर्कल ने अप्रैल-सितंबर अवधि के दौरान बचत बैंक खातों और जीवन बीमा पॉलिसियों में भी उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि दर्ज की है।
