A carpenter in Bengaluru allegedly strangled his pregnant wife to death before dying by suicide in their rented home. The incident was discovered by the house owner who heard a commotion followed by silence. In a separate incident, a 20-year-old housekeeping staffer was beaten to death by relatives following a volleyball game.
