Subramanya Sharma Challa, a 58-year-old civil engineer from Visakhapatnam, completed the Vizag Half Marathon on Sunday to raise awareness for the Save Soil movement. He has run 7,642 km across various cities carrying the Save Soil flag. Challa highlighted that while air and water pollution receive attention, soil health is often overlooked. He plans to continue participating in running events to advocate for soil protection and regeneration. The Save Soil movement aims to promote policies and agricultural practices that improve soil health.

विशाखापत्तनम के 58 वर्षीय सिविल इंजीनियर, सुब्रमण्य शर्मा चल्ला ने 'सेव सॉइल' आंदोलन के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए रविवार को विशाखापत्तनम हाफ मैराथन पूरी की। उन्होंने 'सेव सॉइल' का झंडा लेकर विभिन्न शहरों में 7,642 किमी की दौड़ लगाई है। चल्ला ने बताया कि जहाँ वायु और जल प्रदूषण पर ध्यान दिया जाता है, वहीं मिट्टी के स्वास्थ्य को अक्सर नज़रअंदाज़ कर दिया जाता है। वह मिट्टी संरक्षण और पुनरुत्थान की वकालत करने के लिए दौड़ आयोजनों में भाग लेना जारी रखेंगे। 'सेव सॉइल' आंदोलन का उद्देश्य मिट्टी के स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाने वाली नीतियों और कृषि पद्धतियों को बढ़ावा देना है।
