UP Districts Lag in Education, Jobs; Chandigarh Tops Future of India Report

A Future of India Foundation report reveals that 33 districts in Uttar Pradesh are significantly behind in education, skills, and employment opportunities. The survey, conducted across 800 districts nationwide, identified 160 districts as underdeveloped. Chandigarh secured the top position nationally with 66 points, while Jaipur showed better performance in education and employment within Rajasthan, which ranked 25th overall. States like Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, and Goa have no districts in the underdeveloped category. The report assessed districts based on education, opportunity, participation, readiness, and work.

फ्यूचर ऑफ इंडिया फाउंडेशन की एक रिपोर्ट से पता चला है कि उत्तर प्रदेश के 33 जिले शिक्षा, कौशल और रोज़गार के मौकों में काफी पीछे हैं। देश भर के 800 जिलों में किए गए इस सर्वे में 160 जिलों को अविकसित पाया गया। चंडीगढ़ ने 66 अंकों के साथ देश भर में पहला स्थान हासिल किया, जबकि राजस्थान में जयपुर ने शिक्षा और रोज़गार के मामले में बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया, जो कि कुल मिलाकर 25वें स्थान पर रहा। पंजाब, केरल, तमिलनाडु, उत्तराखंड और गोवा जैसे राज्यों के किसी भी जिले को अविकसित श्रेणी में नहीं रखा गया है। रिपोर्ट ने शिक्षा, अवसर, भागीदारी, तैयारी और काम के आधार पर जिलों का मूल्यांकन किया।
