Prediction market startup Polymarket has launched new tools to help users manage compulsive trading behavior. These include voluntary deposit limits and lock-out options for 30 days, one year, or a lifetime. US users can now set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps, with immediate effect for lowering limits and cooling-off periods for increases. Polymarket has also partnered with Birches Health to offer mental health resources and established a Trust & Safety Centre. This initiative addresses concerns about addiction and investor protection within the growing prediction markets industry.
